Andrea Navedo is an American actress who is also a published author. Her career began in the soap operas One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she played a variety of supporting roles on the primetime television. Andrea Navedo, an American singer and actress, was born from The Bronx New York United States 10th October 1977. Navedo started her acting career with soaps that aired in the daytime. She was a part of the ABC soap opera One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. The show was relaunched as the CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. Her career began as a film actress with a role of Girl 6 (1996), later she appeared in episodes of New York Undercover (1997) as well as The District. In 2001 Navedo co-starred in the action film Double Take and the following year was the drama Washington Heights. Navedo played a regular role on the NBC Crime Series Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. Then, he was a part of Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages along with Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in a variety of other movies, such as El Cantante or Remember Me.
